Sông Quê restaurant is in Kingsland Rd.
Sông Quê has become my favourite Vietnamese restaurant 3 years ago. Because the food here is so fresh, delicious and truly authentic. I found in some Vietnamese restaurants they change the ingredient to be suitable with European taste which makes the food not unique and authentic anymore. The service is friendly and quick. The restaurant is often getting busy on dinner time but I never have to wait for a table and foodie over 15 minutes. Last but not least, the price is fantastic. It's very affordable compared to other Vietnamese restaurants around but the food tastes the best!
The only down side of it which I can think about is the decoration. It is very simple to be honest. So if you looking for a nice/romantic-looking restaurant, maybe Song Que is not for you. However, if you just love eating good food and don't care much about anything else (of course the restaurant looks simple but clean lol), so I highly recommend it. I have been in Song Que so many times, and it never let me down. I always step out with a big tummy :p and a happy smile.
Here is some photos of my recent meal at Song Que:
